Need a REAL ID? Is it time to renew your driver's license? The Illinois Secretary of State's Mobile Driver Services Unit is coming to Bensenville to make it easier for residents to access essential DMV services.

The Mobile DMV and Senior Resource Fair will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Bensenville Village Hall, 12 S. Center St., Bensenville. Representatives from the Illinois Secretary of State's Office will be available to assist with:

  • Driver's license renewals and corrections
  • First-time or renewal Standard and REAL IDs
  • Free state IDs for seniors age 65 and older
  • License plate sticker purchases

“Having the Mobile DMV and senior resources readily accessible to residents is a tremendous benefit to our community," said Village President Frank DeSimone. "These services are not typically available locally, so having them here in Bensenville provides an outstanding opportunity for residents to access the assistance and resources they need."

Attendees can also register to become organ and tissue donors and register to vote while applying for a driver's license or state identification card. For questions, contact Kim Bush at (630) 350-3426 or kbush@bensenville.gov.
