Friday nights are getting a fitness makeover as Wood St. Fitness invites adults to register for Bike & Boot Camp, a high-energy workout that transforms exercise into a party.
The program will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, in the Sycamore and Exercise rooms at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood St., Bensenville. The fee is $20 for out-of-district patrons and $16 for in-district patrons. Space is limited to 15 participants, based on the number of available exercise cycles.
Led by instructor LaToya Hicks, the 90-minute experience combines the excitement of rhythm cycling, the challenge of strength training and the energy of dance fitness into one unforgettable evening. Participants will ride, lift, move and groove under club-style lighting while heart-pumping music keeps the energy high. Hydration breaks will be provided throughout the workout.
“Bike & Boot Camp is designed to make fitness feel more like a celebration than a workout,” Recreation Supervisor Ty Beshiri said. “Whether participants are seasoned fitness enthusiasts or simply looking for a fun way to stay active, they’ll enjoy an energetic atmosphere that keeps them motivated from start to finish.”
The unique class offers a full-body workout while creating a lively, encouraging environment where participants can challenge themselves, burn calories and kick off the weekend on a high note.
Because registration is limited to the available exercise cycles, early registration is encouraged.
