Kick off the holiday season with festive cheer at the annual Holiday Magic & Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 22, from 5-7 p.m. at the corner of Center Street and Green Street in downtown Bensenville.
Residents of all ages are invited to bring family and friends for an evening filled with holiday spirit, seasonal activities, and community cheer. Festivities begin promptly at 5 p.m. with Village President Frank DeSimone welcoming the community and inviting families to visit Santa Claus in his Holiday House.
The evening’s highlight, the official Tree Lighting Ceremony, will take place at 5:15 p.m.
The celebration will feature a variety of family-friendly activities and complimentary holiday treats, including visits with Santa, commemorative ornaments, mini train rides, a petting zoo, photo opportunities, hot cocoa, hot dogs, and more. All activities and refreshments are free and available while supplies last.
“Each November, Bensenville comes together for our annual Holiday Magic & Tree Lighting Ceremony, a cherished tradition that brings our community together to celebrate the holiday season,” said DeSimone. “From visiting with Santa and enjoying hot cocoa to connecting with neighbors, it is an opportunity for families to make lasting memories and celebrate what makes Bensenville such a special place.
