Jefferson St., Bensenville. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Bensenville Parks Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting parks, recreation and community initiatives.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with music from DJ Joe “Cool” Rodriguez, along with food and drinks available for purchase. The comedy takes center stage at 8 p.m. with a four-comedian lineup featuring headliner Eli Castro, along with Seth Davis, Anthony Bonazzo and Marci Deloney.
Castro is an accomplished comedian, writer and performer whose comedy draws on language and culture to connect with audiences of all ages. He has written and performed 10 one-man shows, earning critical acclaim and appearances on programs including ABC’s “The View,” Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Dia,” Fox’s “Good Day New York” and WGN-TV. He also won Best Stand Up at the United Solo Festival in New York City. Before pursuing comedy full time, Castro worked as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney.
Davis brings high-energy, self-observational and absurd humor to the stage. A Chicago-area native and graduate of The Second City and i.O. Theater, Davis has appeared off-Broadway, on NBC5’s “The Nude Hippo Show” and “The Daily Show,” as well as at comedy festivals throughout the country. His material draws from family, relationships, growing up in Skokie and the everyday absurdities of life.
Bonazzo, a New Jersey native now living in Chicago, is known for his quick wit and fast-paced delivery. He has appeared at the Netflix Is a Joke Festival and has opened for comedians including Michael Che, Adam Carolla, Kathleen Madigan and Jessica Kirson. His work also includes appearances in videos for The Onion, a Dry Bar Comedy special and specials available on YouTube and Tubi.
Deloney has performed on stages across the country, including The Second City, and was a finalist on Nick at Nite’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Her clean, quick-witted style blends personal experiences with relatable observations, making her comedy accessible to a wide range of audiences.
