On Aug. 24, the Village of Bensenville welcomed Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) to its new location at 710 Foster Ave. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
CED’s new 134,000 square foot facility represents a meaningful investment in Bensenville’s industrial and business community. The newly completed facility provides ample space for warehousing, offices, and logistics in a convenient location for serving the Chicagoland area. CED is one of the nation’s largest electrical distribution companies, with over 700 locations.
CED Bensenville specializes in the supply and distribution of electrical materials and equipment to Chicagoland’s electrical contractors. CED relocated its business from Elk Grove Village to Bensenville, strengthening Bensenville’s commercial and industrial base and contributing to the village’s economic development.
“Bensenville is very happy to welcome CED to our community,” said Village President Frank DeSimone. “CED’s investment in Bensenville is a testament to the strength of our business community, our strategic location, and the opportunities available here for companies looking to grow. Economic development is about more than new buildings; it’s about building partnerships and creating opportunities that benefit the entire community. We appreciate CED’s commitment to Bensenville. We are excited to celebrate the opening of their new facility and look forward to seeing the company thrive here.”
